Anyone been able to pick up baby on at home Doppler yet ? I’m 11 weeks tomorrow and I know it’s still early so I’m not overly stressed but curious I’ve heard some at home dopplers work this early so if yours does what brand are you using ?

I bought one and I was able to find it!
I’m an RN so I did understand the difference between my placenta and baby’s heartbeat. And If I did find a seemingly slower heartbeat I would check my carotid pulse to make sure it was consistent with mine and would move on to find baby’s!
I’m 10w and found it at 9w6d!
I bought fetal plus, I don’t love the way it reads the HR because it reads it lower than it actually is so that might scare some mamas but I just listen to it and it’s much faster and I know baby is healthy!

@Lenadest,
I don’t know! I haven’t tried that one. I honestly just looked at reviews to see what other moms said!

I'm 10 weeks 2 days and have found it everyday for the last 4-5 days. Before then nothing, and sometimes it's very difficult!

I’m 11 weeks and cannot find baby’s HR for the life of me. I’m pretty skilled with Dopplers (work in vet med) so I’m a little frustrated.

@saraperfin,
that could potentially be true! Baby may just need to be a little bigger for you to hear it!

I started being able to find baby’s heartbeat yesterday at 9w1d. It’s just an old used retired hospital Doppler I found but I was able to find it pretty low, right on top of my pubic bone, with a pillow under my back

I've only tried once. 9w4d I find it for a split second and then couldn't find it again. I'm gonna try to wait until next week to try again

I am 11+1 and cannot find it. Found it with my last at 11+3 and she had an anterior placenta so maybe I’m just too early still or baby is hiding. It’s starting to worry me though

I found my little one’s heartbeat at 9weeks5days. I have a posterior placenta. Found really really low on pubic bone.
I have read that we really shouldn’t use Doppler this early on ans my ultrasound tech won’t listen to it till after first trimester

@babyblissttc24,
home dopplers are nowhere near as strong as the ultrasound tech's machines, so home doppler use is safe in the first trimester. Midwives and OBs use dopplers on people in the first trimester all the time
