\\ THE FREEDOM OF LETTING GO: WHY SUCCESS AND FAILURE DON’T DEFINE YOUR STORY- REWRITING THE NARRATIVE | SHE WAKES UP- Because you are worthy of love & healing (2024)

Hey there, it's such a pleasure to have you back with me. Honestly, this is one of the highlights of my week. Right now, I'm absolutely reveling in the cozy, fall vibes around me. The crisp, cool air flows in through open windows, carrying that unmistakable scent of autumn. I'm lounging in one of my favorite soft hoodies, with my comfy fuzzy slippers on – total bliss.

Recently, my kids and I started getting into the spirit of fall and Halloween. Our home now carries that playful, spooky charm. We've adorned it with fake spider webs, complete with little plastic spiders scattered around. It's all in good fun and has definitely lifted my spirits.

But today, oh today, was truly exceptional. I had the privilege of connecting one-on-one with two incredible women. These calls are such a joy because I have this knack for reading people, sensing their thoughts and emotions. During these conversations, I can almost see the gears turning in their minds, those "aha" moments lighting up their faces. It's like they've always known their potential, but they needed someone to help coax it out of them. I felt honored to play that role.

Reflecting on these calls, I couldn't help but notice a common thread that runs through the lives of many women I encounter. They harbor amazing stories, unique experiences, and valuable insights. Yet, they often question whether their stories are worth sharing. It's a feeling I'm all too familiar with, that nagging self-doubt that our stories might not measure up to some invisible standard.

But here's what I want them, and you, to know: I see you, I hear you, and I believe in you. This is my calling, my space, and it fills me with boundless joy to show up week after week. I'm on this journey with you, and I cherish the connections we've built through this podcast. So, if you're one of those incredible women who have touched my life, or if I've touched yours in some way, please know that I appreciate you. Your stories matter, and I'm here to champion them.

Now, let's jump into today's episode, where we're going to explore the fascinating topic of success and failure. I want you to imagine something: What if we could remove the overwhelming focus on the outcome from the equation of achieving our dreams? What if we knew, without a doubt, that we couldn't fail?

This shift in perspective opens up an entirely new world of possibilities. It encourages us to consider what we'd truly pursue if the fear of failure were no longer a factor. I've had my share of struggles with this concept because, personally, I'm someone who thrives on achievements. But through my experiences, I've come to realize that the magic often happens in the process, not just in reaching the final destination.

It's about finding success in our growth, in our efforts, and in the fulfillment we gain from taking action. And as we delve deeper into this episode, I'll pose some questions to help you redefine what success and failure mean for you. These questions will challenge you to see the beauty in your journey and the wisdom in embracing failure as part of your growth.

So, here's the first question to ponder: What would you do if you knew that failure was impossible? Imagine the boundless possibilities, the audacious dreams you'd chase without hesitation. Removing the fear of failure often ignites a spark within us, encouraging us to pursue what truly matters.

But now, let's flip the scenario: What if you knew you might fail? Would you still forge ahead with the same determination and enthusiasm? Often, the fear of failure holds us back, but what if we could embrace failure as an integral part of the journey? Failure becomes less of a roadblock and more of a stepping stone, a chance to learn, grow, and evolve.

And finally, consider this: What other option do you have but to try? Regret can be more daunting than failure itself. Picture yourself as an elderly person, reflecting on life's journey. Do you want to look back with regrets, wishing you'd taken those chances? Or would you prefer to reminisce about the times you faced your fears, learned from your mistakes, and embraced the journey?

In this episode, we'll explore these questions and delve deeper into the concept of redefining success and failure. We'll discover the power of detaching from the outcome and embracing the process. Success becomes not just a destination but a journey!
